What does Telligent Community cost and how is it licensed?

Telligent Community is a very simple, but scalable solution. Some of our communities run over 1b page views in a month. We’ve also tried to make our licensing and pricing as simple as possible.

Licensing for public / external communities

Licensing for public external communities is by server and domain and includes 1 web domain and 1 production server. Additional web domains and production servers are available in the Enterprise Edition.

Customers anticipating greater than 250,000 page views/month, wanting a fail-over server, or expecting a high utilization of APIs should consider a minimum of 2 production servers.

The Free Edition is only available for customers that wish to use Telligent Community on premises in their own data center. Our Starter and Enterprise Editions are both on premises and SaaS.

What are my options for where Telligent Community runs?

We’re flexible – Telligent Community can be deployed with one of the following options with the ability to change at a later point in time.

  1. You Host (On Premises) – you run the software ‘on premises’ in your own data center.
  2. We Host (SaaS) – we run the software in our SaaS environment.

Basically, we want to make it easy to run our software for whatever way works best for you.

How is the commercial version of Telligent Community restricted?

The commercial version of Telligent Community is restricted by number of users, servers and domains.

For example, the Starter Edition is limited to 5,000 community members and a single server. The commercial editions are additionally licensed for external (public) uses of Telligent Community and internal (private employee / partner / customer) uses. Internal uses are licensed by seat.
